Banana-oh-rama (photodiary)

1011191_592157697490804_1084910062_nI always thought of the happiest summer I had with the most wonderful people in the world. I need not to mention their names but they are so dear to me. As I went through the busy weeks of June, I found out that I was not able to post the craziest and adventurous trails of the sunny days spent in the beach; the gazzilionth photos. (just kidding!) It helped me a lot in gaining so many positive vibes as I laugh through the pictures and remember every single detail of our banana boat ride. Yeehaaa! πŸ™‚

We really had fun with crazy banana boat ride! I’ll never forget all our never ending banana-oh-rama screams and comments all about everything under the blazing sun. Our emotions were all over the top ! At the end of the ride, seemed like we all appreciated how everything was beautiful; the sea, sun & the sky.

1016511_4985451956093_1414417394_nHappy Father’s Day Pap!:) This paper cut work is for you and to all the dads in the whole wide world.

I and my two cool sisters had a surprise sweet treat for our dear papa. I know he just got the greatest gift of being a father because he has a rich heart to take good care of us, his family.

We love you this big! πŸ™‚

Happy cutting for Father’s Day:)

a heart for cutting

100_4639Prayers of Praise

Two little eyes to look to God;
Two little ears to hear his word;
Two little feet to walk in his ways;
Two little lips to sing his praise;
Two little hands to do his will
And one little heart to love him still.

I would like to share this paper cut-work that I did last Sunday.

Β I was able to do it though I just made its last line.

It made my heart so glad that I wanted to do more of these.

I hope you love it too.

Red Sunshine

Hi there! πŸ™‚ It’s already June and does it mean Summer’s already over? I know there will be an eternal sunshine that glows in each of us since we’ve been recharged from the summer break. I hope you enjoyed summer as much as I do. I was into a lot of fearless adventures and craziest experiences since the sun started to be the earth’s spotlight. I had to deal with some life matters like my approaching grad studies, attending fashion events, fueling my artistic tank and even with my endless responsibility as a teacher. Above all the busy schedule I was able to have this outfit post! πŸ™‚

iThe little red dress that I loved because of its easy-breezy chiffon lightweight material.

bI had fun with the dress on this fine weather.

jI even played around with nature just to spent the most of the sun’s heat.

970251_4831712752709_2044472_nIt was a bright day indeed. Thank you Mr. Sun for a fine day for me to play around the last few days of Summer. πŸ™‚

Love this look? I hope you do. πŸ™‚

REDHope you all had a great Summer! πŸ™‚

Philippine Fashion Week: SM Ladies and Parisian

“I never thought dreams do come true in an instant.”

I was so happy that I was able to attend a formal fashion show. It was my long-time dream to attend one most likely the famous Philippine Fashion Week. The funny-up-side-down story behind these chances was just a click away at one of my fave blog ( And that was history!haha

That Wednesday, I thought of plans on how I can reach MOA in an instant because I have work till 5:00pm and the show starts by 7:30pm. I was grateful I had my sister, Jess with me in action all the time. haha πŸ™‚ I can’t believe I was able to catch up the show and saw the famous ramp;”catwalk”. It was an awesome experience to be in a fashion week. I was mesmerized with the collections and even with the fashionable people in the gala. I am really thankful for it until now.

Here’s my Philippine Fashion Week photo diary:

One Sunday Crafternoon

Art is still part of life and always will be. It means forever. I was into paper cutting literally—- letters especially for my classroom since I am a teacher and for some nifty crafty things. I was really into cutting, tearing and pasting papers since I was a kid. Not having dolls and dollhouses, I as a kid made my own. I use to have my own drawing of paper dolls with their unique dresses and of course their houses.

I used old magazines, glue, scissors, used paper materials like folders, coupon bonds, balikbayan boxes and even our telephone directory. It was funny though that I went through those childhood experiences. As I grow up, I gradually evolved my cutting business. I tried cutting letters the moment I got older and let go of the paper-y dolls. I used those letter cuts from scrapbooks to my own classroom decors. I usually call them my handmade-decals. (I usually broke these BIG&COLORFUL scissors whenever I cut these days.) I think that’s part of my cutting life.

These hot and dry summer days I planned to have an art-sy activity to do. And the moment I saw Hey Kessy’s post, I was purely excited and curious to learn another craft most likely with washi tapes.
heykessyThis was the post for the workshop. (Hey Kessy)

This is my crafty photo diary of the workshop happened last Sunday.

431083_4873340953388_681364237_nThe crafty tools & materials were all organized and set for action! πŸ™‚ I was happy also with the personalized mats with our name on it that was made by Mansy.

(Thaaaank you Mansy! :))

941998_4873316352773_1916527108_nI love these hanging papercuts! πŸ™‚

960144_4873279151843_1236148145_nMansy’s hanger of adorable washi tapes.
969020_4873299312347_316392523_nIt was too hard to choose from these washi tapes. The designs & patterns are all so pretty and cool.

947062_4873244110967_1096927722_nAfter several practices of the cutting patters, here’s my very first try. I chose to cut the word “teach” .

3.) Get up and… teach

969343_4873232790684_347370240_nThese were our creative masterpieces!:D #proud

988416_4872806380024_1088976221_nThis was my memorable papercut for my first ever coaster. I am very thankful for the creative ideas I got from the workshop. The ‘teach’ coaster was also for our patient crafter-maker-teacher-rolled-into-one amazing person—Mansy Abesamis. It was nice meeting and learning with her. She inspired me to make MORE!!! πŸ™‚

The crafty afternoon was truly FUN and meaningful Β though there were dark clouds the moment I stepped out Sweet Ecstacy cafe. haha! πŸ˜€
